Certain players WILL ALWAYS play better when they are surrounded by teamates whom are equally appreciated of talent and hungry for that ever elusive ring. Take notes!

Ok, Big Ben did NOTHING wrong. Yes, Antonio was open and should’ve got the rock, but you know what,.. At the end of the day, Antonio Brown is a professional, and professionalism should be expected at ALL TIMES. The prima donna Wide Receiver mess needs to stop on all teams. You are not above everyone else on your team. You are a grown ass man with a grown ass job, and you play BIG, but that does not give you the ok to throw a toddler tantrum on the sideline. It happened, move on, because there is another possession comin’. Nobody is perfect, but every one of you should be held to the same standards of being a pro. There are little 10 yr old kids who idolize you, watching you act like them. Grow up and ball big man. I got mad respect for you, but I have zero respect for the allowances prima donna wide receiver’s are afforded these days. They all need to be more mature and professional. Like Julio Jones. JULIO is the best receiver in the NFL, and doesn’t get numbers like others sometimes because he has a B+ quarterback, and he NEVER complains about not getting targeted. He’s always congratulating everyone else and trying to be a team player. He is so underrated it’s ridiculous.

“Your” President did what today?! Why are some so surprised as if they expect him to get this behavior out of his system and be ok? It is ONLY going to get worse. Of all people, Trump is definitely not going to change for the better. Every single person around him, he knows, can be bought. Living proof money makes the world go round, and you can even be U.S. President.

Alright, time for me to tackle the issue on race, PUBLICLY. Or via blog, rather.
FIRST, let me say, Please Please PLEASE do no turn a blind eye or add to the ignorance. There IS an issue, that is now, FINALLY being addressed. THAT is the good thing. As a man of color, we have lived for long as we have been on this continent, in a world that MOST can’t fathom, because we NEVER talk about it. It has been our way of life, so we just go on like normal, not pushing the issue. I truly heartfeltly appreciate all those who are not of color, who are standing up along side us and saying it’s time for a change. That is the BEST THING THAT COULD HAPPEN for all of us. Thank you, thank you, thank you! If you are against those who would kneel, or tug at the issue to and rather everyone just be silent, or stand up, or resume what our life was…. You are adding to the problem, PERIOD. Let the talk continue. Let the change happen. It’s too late to go back now, so please open your mind and show support for a positive resolution. No matter what you think, the issue is here, front and center, and now IS the time to stand behind TRUE equality for All. Those athletes and celebrities have a voice in a world where, unfortunately, more people clearly listen to money and the famous.
Our national anthem was written by a man who owned slaves. So when it was written, he was not even talking about anyone of color!!!!! Think about that. It is ZERO disrespect to kneel for an anthem that most don’t even know the history about. Don’t believe me, google it. In addition, I am glad many athletes are using their influence to further this to an escalated positive resolve. Instead of many of them just counting their millions and only thinking of themselves.
Our President is a problem. Now I do not dislike Trump. But he is living, breathing, tweeting PROOF that money makes the world go around. I will not get into the issues with him at this time, I’ll be blogging all day. But NO NO NO, you are Not supposed to be doing 98% of what you are doing! I know Very well the racial issues that have remained in our country and world. But this man is a known vocalist and supporter of many things white supremacist. I just do not understand how ANYONE could be ok with that. Shaking my head… Have we gone back in time?!! This is 2017 people! This man is bringing us ever closer to BOTH World and Civil War again, and talking bad and turning his nose up at even his supporters! And the fact that he gets a single cheer using VERY unbecoming phrases of a U.S. President… No No No. The IQ of our world is so damn low.
A stand AGAINST those who peacefully do not stand, is a DOUBLE STANDARD AND HYPOCRISY against what you THINK the flag, anthem, and country stands for. Period. To gorgeous Villanueva, I understand, I’m also an Army brat, and you have every right to stand just as your teammates have every right to do whatever they choose. I just hope they have opened your mind to understand that it is not disrespect and that your anti-stance and previous statements, feed and back many who are in fact racist and those are the ones you stand with also. Not solely our great soldiers.
I hope the athletes continue to escalate the issue, and I hope that doors begin to open for us of color in the tv/film and other industries. We need more opportunities to make all this the right resolution. There are many many more important things going on in this world that should have our attention and focus. One love ya’ll, Life.

Thunder’s 2 Cents : MisInformed NBA Statements
Just a quick foreword, this site will have more professional written articles, but will also have these, my two cents, which is just going to be completely however it comes out improved. I want to be able to speak my mind while opening minds. Aimin’ high like my mentor Stephen A. Smith. I have some great ideas for you man!!
Now on to my 2cents.
Ok, …been telling folks for YEEEEEARS!
I don’t know why folks are so surprised when ok or bad coaches do bad. Let me restate what should be obvious to anyone with a savvy basketball IQ:
Mike Brown was never a good coach, he’s been royally blessed with opportunity after opportunity. When he was winning and won coach of the year, he had the King of the NBA, Lebron James. Now he is blessed with the wonderful opportunity to be a coach on the team that was already breaking records and winning thanks to Mark Jackson. Even Steve Kerr admits he too was blessed with that job, and payed respect to Jackson, because it has been NOTHING but easy street. When he is out due to illness, that team just keeps ballin. Period. Not saying Kerr is a bad coach, but it’s hard to tell with all that talent. Hate that organization got rid of Mark Jackson though.
Erik Spoelstra was never an almighty coach. When he was winning, he had the King of the NBA, Lebron James. Yes, he also had Mr. Wade, the bizniss, but obviously it is painfully clear to all competitors that there is no talent on any roster comparable to the King and how much he can do by his damn self. Meaning, irreplaceable in every sense of the word.
Tyronn Lue, IS winning, YOU GUESSED IT, because he has the King! Everyone knows Lebron coached them to that championship and you even saw Lebron yelling at Lue. But, now Lue has the (supposed to be) ever Elusive Ring, and rookie coach records to his name.
David Blatt, had the rookie NBA head coaching debut privilege of a roster with the King and,.. you get where I’m going with this. I need for folks to Pump The Breaks on coaching praise when folks are blessed with can’t go wrong rosters, and other decent coaches can’t even get offered an opportunity. Church!
Couple more cents:
Clay Thompson has Never been as good as less savvy viewers have stated. He can ball. He can drop buckets if you leave him open, but he doesn’t drive on folks like Curry, and if you have a decent defender on him, he’s a no show. Why in the world are folks surprised that his playoff numbers are so much worse than his in season numbers? I’m trying’ to help increase the savvy here. The numbers speak for themselves, I haven’t been making it up. No hate here, but if there is, it’s only that I hate folks keep dwelling on the wrong aspects and misleading others with these discussions. I Can Not Wait till I am blessed with the opportunity to raise some valid points and incite thoughts with my favorite sportscasters.
Lastly, Lonzo Ball, is one blessed dude to have a dad so off the chain. That’s not a compliment, but it’s not a negative either. Many folks remembered the dads name before they remembered either of the sons, and most still only remember the elder son’s. It can be said that the “ONLY” reason this young dude has gone pro, is literally a result of his father’s (sorry, should I have said off the wall or off the rocker instead) antics. This is going to rear an ugly side in the future, perhaps when Lonzo becomes of drinking age and when he wants to start thinking for himself and keep HIS OWN MONEY. Dad is way too involved at this point. You got yer son to go Pro, congrats, but sooner or later all that is Lavar Ball is going to be too overwhelming for his kids. I’m surprised they have the wiki article doctored to mention his dad as little as possible. We need to let these folks live their life though, so I would, for one and once, like to take the initiative to say just one thing to my fellow writers and commentators who keep the quite possibly temporary and likely to disappoint hype going: Stop It.
